Tornadoes:
Three tornadoes have been confirmed by the NWS Twin Cities. One in Anoka County just north of Andover, another in northern Anoka and southern Isanti counties, and one in Dakota County. Pierce and St. Croix Counties in Wisconsin each had one tornado.We're still determining path length and ratings as we assess the damage. More tornadoes may be confirmed as damage crews further investigate reports.

There was extensive wind damage that occurred. This event did not have as much widespread damage reported as with the storms on August 26/27, 2024, however it did impact a lot of the same areas which further exasperated power outages and response efforts.

Rain Reports
The line of storms move quickly through western and central MN, limiting rainfall totals. Storm motion slow quite a bit as the line moved into Wisconsin, resulting in pockets of 2"+ of rain. Parts of southern Polk County received over 3" of rain, resulting in areas of flash flooding in some cities.
