How to make Halloween Dirt Cake
First, crush the Oreos cookies in a food processor or blender. Once they are all crushed, put 2/3 of them in the bottom of a 9X13 pan.
Just set this aside for later.
Second, mix together the cream and butter and beat until it is smooth. I like to use a hand mixer or stand mixer until this is smooth.
Next, mix in the powdered sugar and cool whip. Make sure this is all combined really good.
Now you need a separate bowl. Whisk together the milk and chocolate pudding mixes.
Next, fold this mixture into the cream cheese mixture.
Once combined, pour this over the Oreos in the 9X13 pan.
Finally, top with the remaining Oreos that you crushed.
Go ahead and cover the dish. Put in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Right before serving, decorate the cake. We like to write RIP on the top of the Milano cookies with the black icing.
Put the cookies all over the cake to resemble tombstones. Next, decorate with the gummy worms and candy pumpkins.
